Alaska Continuing Legal Education Requirements

Reporting Method: Self-Reporting

Compliance Period: Annual

Reporting Process: Attorneys must report their MCLE compliance through the Alaska Bar Association's online MCLE reporting system. Attorneys may file only one MCLE report per calendar year. 

Compliance Deadline: December 31.

Reporting Deadline: February 1. 

Total Credits Required: 12 credit hours annually. 

Specialty Credit Requirements: 3 hours of Ethics. 

Maximum Online Credits: 12 credit hours. All required CLE credits may be completed through approved online, on-demand, or live webcast courses. 

Carryover Credit: Up to 12 excess CLE credits, including up to 3 Ethics credits, may be carried forward to the next reporting period.
