Reporting Method: Self-Reporting
Compliance Period: Three-Year Cycle
Reporting Process: Attorneys must certify their MCLE compliance through the Colorado Supreme Court CLE Track online reporting system.
Compliance Deadline: December 31 of the attorney's reporting year.
Reporting Deadline: January 31 following the compliance deadline.
Total Credits Required: 45 credit hours every three years.
Specialty Credit Requirements:
- 5 hours of Legal Ethics and Professionalism
- 2 hours of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity (EDI)
Maximum Online Credits: 45 credit hours. All required CLE credits may be completed through approved online courses.
Carryover Credit: None permitted.
Record Retention: Attorneys should retain certificates of completion and supporting CLE documentation in accordance with Colorado Supreme Court Continuing Legal and Judicial Education requirements.
