Reporting Method: Sponsor Reporting
Compliance Period: Two-Year Cycle
Reporting Process: ApexCLE reports attendance directly to the Illinois MCLE Board. Attorneys should review their online My MCLE transcript to verify that all reported credits have been recorded. The transcript serves as the attorney's compliance report.
Compliance Deadline: June 30 of the attorney's reporting year. Reporting groups are based on the first letter of the attorney's last name (A–M report in even-numbered years; N–Z report in odd-numbered years).
Reporting Deadline: July 31.
Total Credits Required: 30 credit hours every two years.
Specialty Credit Requirements:
- 6 hours of Professional Responsibility
- Includes at least 1 hour of Diversity and Inclusion
- Includes at least 1 hour of Mental Health and Substance Abuse
Maximum Online Credits: 30 credit hours. All required CLE credits may be completed through approved online, on-demand, or live webcast courses.
Carryover Credit: Up to 10 excess CLE credits, including Professional Responsibility credits, may be carried forward to the next reporting period.
