Kentucky Continuing Legal Education Requirements

Reporting Method: Self-Reporting

Compliance Period: Annual

Reporting Process: Attorneys must report their CLE compliance through the Kentucky Bar Association CLE Member Portal. Attorneys are responsible for reporting all earned CLE credits by the reporting deadline. 

Compliance Deadline: June 30

Reporting Deadline: August 10 

Total Credits Required: 12 credit hours annually.

Specialty Credit Requirements: 2 hours of Ethics. 

Maximum Online Credits: 12 credit hours. All required CLE credits may be completed through approved online, on-demand, or live webinar courses. 

Carryover Credit: Up to 24 excess CLE credits, including up to 4 Ethics credits, may be carried forward to the next two reporting periods.
