Reporting Process: Attorneys must certify their MCLE compliance by filing an Affidavit of Compliance through the New Hampshire MCLE Attorney Reporting Tool (ART). Attorneys are responsible for determining whether completed courses qualify for credit under New Hampshire Supreme Court Rule 53.
Compliance Deadline: May 31.
Reporting Deadline: July 1.
Total Credits Required: 12 credit hours annually.
Specialty Credit Requirements: 2 hours of Ethics, Professionalism, Prevention of Malpractice, Substance Abuse, or Attorney-Client Disputes.
Maximum Online Credits: 12 credit hours. All required CLE credits may be completed through approved online or on-demand courses.
Carryover Credit: Up to 12 excess CLE credits, including up to 2 Ethics credits, may be carried forward to the next reporting period.
Record Retention: Attorneys should retain certificates of completion and supporting CLE documentation for at least two years.
