Compliance Period: Annual
Reporting Process: ApexCLE reports attendance directly to the State Bar of New Mexico for approved courses. Attorneys should verify that all reported credits appear on their MCLE transcript and certify compliance as required during the annual reporting process.
Compliance Deadline: December 31 (automatic extension to February 1 for completion of the prior year's requirement).
Reporting Deadline: March 1.
Total Credits Required: 12 credit hours annually.
Specialty Credit Requirements:
- 2 hours of Ethics or Professionalism
- 1 hour of Equity in Justice (EIJ)
Maximum Online Credits: 12 credit hours. All required CLE credits may be completed through approved online self-study or live courses.
Carryover Credit: Up to 12 excess CLE credits may be carried forward to the next reporting period, including up to 2 Ethics credits and 1 Equity in Justice credit.
